The Influence Of Mi Fu And The Calligraphy Learning Method Of His Learning On My Running Script Creation

As a well-known calligrapher,Mi Fu was unique in his style in the Northern Song Dynasty.His calligraphy had a far-reaching impact at that time and even on the later generations.Mi Fu's spirits of breaking the routine and of innovation make he a typical calligrapher with especially the unique style of running script and high accomplishments in the Northern Song Dynasty.His running script works offer new ideas and space for later generations of creators.Based on the running script of Mi Fu,the author attempts to briefly review the method of his integrating old styles and creating new things,the path of the learning Mi Fu's style.As representatives of successful learners of Mi Fu,Wu Ju and other four calligraphers will be analyzed for their success.The analysis is for inheriting the tradition,learning the writing method,character structure and art of composition from Mi Fu and his learners,guiding the author to complete own creation.The article mainly analyzes the characteristics of using ink and brush of Mi Fu,the inheritance of other practicers from Mi Fu,and the reference of the author from Mi Fu and his learners.The first two aspects are elaborated in order to make the author understand the calligraphy characters of Mi Fu and his learners,be inspired by the experience of predecessors in her own writing,and creat copy works based on the brushwork techniques of predecessors.From the perspective of brush using,character shape and layout,the author try to find the exclusive brush and ink style,so as to achieve the goal of creation.This article is based on my own writing practice.The author analyzes the difficulties and shortcomings in the creation,which enables the author to fully understand the problems in her creative process,and then continue to think and study to complete the practice of self-creation.The author also design the path of creation ability improvement,which is also of great significance for the author to further improve the study and creation ability of running script in the future.
