A Study On Mongolian Numeral Abbreviations

In this paper,on the basis of predecessors' research on Mongolian abbreviations and on the basis of “ Mongolian Dictionary ”,“ Mongolian Chinese Dictionary ” and “ Inner Mongolian Daily Newspaper ”(in the year 2013-2015),the author makes a statistical analysis of Mongolian numerical abbreviations,expounds the concepts of Mongolian abbreviations and numerical abbreviations,and analyses the condition,characteristics,types of Mongolian numerical abbreviations,and also analyses the problems existing in Mongolian numerical abbreviations,the causes of the problem and some suggestions on standardization are put forward.The general structure of this thesis is as follows: introduction,chapter one,chapter two,chapter three,conclusion,references,appendix 1 and appendix 2.In the introduction part,the author introduces the reasons and significance of the research topic,research background,research methods and the source of research materials.In the first chapter,the author expounds the concepts of Mongolian abbreviations and numerical abbreviations,and analyzes the condition of Mongolian digital abbreviations.In the second chapter,the author makes a detailed analysis of the characteristics and types of Mongolian numerical abbreviations.In the third chapter,the author discusses the problem and causes of the problem in the Mongolian numerical abbreviations,and puts forward some suggestions on norms.In the conclusion part,the author made a brief summary of the whole study.The first appendix is the Mongolian abbreviation scheme,rules and notice of Mongolian abbreviations issued by the Mongolian Language Working Committee in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The second appendix is the Mongolian numerical abbreviations in “ Mongolian Dictionary ”,“ Mongolian Chinese Dictionary ” and “ Inner Mongolian Daily Newspaper ”(in the year 2013-2015).
