Analysis Of The Artistic Characteristics Of "The Song Of Jewelry" Selected From The Opera Faust And The Singing Treatment

The aria "The song of jewelry" is a masterpiece created by the French composer Charles Francois Gounod---a classical aria of the opera Faust.Since the first performance of the play in1859,the aria of “song of jewelry ” has been popular in Europe and the United States because of its beautiful coloratura showmanship singing characteristics,and has become a well-known "Ivy" style work.Since the performance of Faust more than 150 years ago,"The song of jewelry" has brought beautiful enjoyment to generations of Chinese and foreign audiences and won warm welcome and praise from the audiences.Therefore,the song of jewelry has also become a focus of music academic research.However,the current existing research literature on the “song of jewelry” singing techniques and techniques analysis has become a general view,but in the depth of exploration of the theory is a little inadequate.In view of this,this paper chooses the analysis of the artistic phenomena and singing skills of "The song of jewelry" as the research direction,and attempts to carry out a more in-depth analysis and exploration of the singing techniques of the song from the theoretical level.In this paper,the research of the topic is made up of five parts.The first part is introduction,it is to introduce the basic information of the topic selected in this paper.The second part presents the plot of the opera Faust and analyzes the character image of Margaret in the song of jewelry.The third part,to analyze the creative characteristics of the aria “ song of jewelry” from the two aspects of musical structure and melody development.The fourth part,from "the use of French tongue sound","speed and strength of the change in the adjustment of singing","coloratura showy singing skills in the comprehensive application and adjustment of techniques in fancy singing",these three aspects,from the perspective of singing physiology and theory to analyzes and explain the singing methods of " jewelry song ”.The fifth part is the conclusion,which sums up the contents of this paper research,and summarizes the core of the controversy.
