Augmented Reality(AR)technology has been widely used in many fields by combining virtual and real information to enhance the perception and experience of the real environment.The traditional children's picture book has a single function,which is difficult to fully reflect the fun and education of the picture book.This study intends to combine augmented reality technology with plant picture books as an example to study the interactive interaction method of augmented reality technology in children's picture books.On the one hand,through the picture book,the plant-related scientific knowledge can be more intuitively understood,and children's creativity can be cultivated.By studying interactive picture books,augmented reality technology can be applied to children's picture book education.The main research content of this thesis includes the following three aspects:(1)Analyzed the key technologies and theoretical methods of image recognition,camera calibration and three-dimensional registration in the implementation steps of augmented reality technology,and compared the performance of four mainstream augmented reality development tools.The experimental results show that ARToolkit is open source and extensible;VoidAR is easy to operate,but there are problems such as low accuracy and no open source;Metaio and Vuforia have good implementation effects,but Metaio has stopped authorizing services,Vuforia is not open source and can be expanded.Poor performance,so ARToolkit was chosen as the augmented reality development tool for this study.(2)Aiming at the problem that the feature detection algorithms SIFT and SURF of image recognition in Augmented Reality are not high in real-time and the robustness of ORB scale change is poor,an image recognition method based on SURF and ORB is proposed.The main idea of this method is Yes: In the feature detection phase,the ORB feature descriptor is used to describe the feature points detected by SURF.In the feature matching phase,Hamming distance matching is first used,and then the RANSAC is used to remove the mismatch.The experimental results show that the proposed image recognition method has stable performance,high recognition efficiency,strong scale and rotation variation,and can effectively improve the matching accuracy.(3)Design and test of interactive plant picture book system based on augmented reality.Based on the principle of augmented reality,this paper designs an augmented reality system with three-dimensional model appearance display,text and audio introduction,gesture interaction,and picture book coloring.Finally,the system uses black box test method to test sys-tem function,and the test result It shows that all functions of the system can meet the expected requirements;through the questionnaire,the user experience is experienced.The feedback results show that the system interaction effect feedback rate is 70%,the excellent rate is nearly 13%,and the fluency feedback rate is 50%.The excellent rate is nearly 23%;the excellent rate of educational effect feedback is about 33%,and the excellent rate is 45%.Based on the above conclusions,the interactive augmented reality system researched and implemented in this paper can meet the expected functional and performance requirements of the project.
