A Study On The Aesthetic Acceptance Of Qin Opera In 20th Century

The 20 th century is the most prosperous,the most brilliant but also the most vertiginous time of Qin Opera.In the long development course of Qin Opera,the relationship between the opera and audience is very close.The change of the aesthetic idea and aesthetic interest of audience has the extremely important influence on the development of Qin Opera,even directly determines its decline or flourish.So the study on the reception of Qin Opera in 20 th century has a strong practical significance.In this paper,with the aid of reception theory,the specific acceptance of Qin Opera in the 20 th century has been carded.In order to more directly and more accurately reflect the status of this acceptance,in this paper,it can be divided into four different historical stages: enlightenment of new ideas(1912-1937),propaganda in the war(1937-1949),transition of the new era(1949-1976),Upheaval in the new period(since1977).These four historical stages is the different stages of the development of Qin Opera but also the different stages of the important change in the interactive relationship between the audience and Qin Opera.Different time background and different aesthetic idea of audience in these four stages makes the acceptance of Qin Opera presents different characteristics.In fact,for Qin Opera,the acceptance of audience had a great impact on its drama creation and stage performance.On the one hand,Qin Opera constantly adjusting the relationship with the audience,on the other hand,it always insist on the way of self-inheritance.In the first three stages,the transition of the Qin Opera is able to meet the aesthetic needs of audience,a large number of popular high-quality plays was created,and its artistic grade also had varying degrees of increase at the same time.Above these change laid an important foundation of QinOpera flow into the city from the countryside.But in the fourth stages,Qin Opera produced a gravely deviation with the aesthetic taste of audience,in other words,the great changes of the audience's aesthetic idea made Qin Opera unable to adapt quickly.Therefore,the development of the Qin Opera becomes difficult.After analyzing the acceptance of the Qin Opera in the different stages in the 20 th century,this paper argues that,to solve Qin Opera's current plight,we should draw lessons from the history.While Qin Opera respecting the rule of art,it should also constantly adapt to the metabolic aesthetic idea of audience,thereby find a new development path in a diversified cultural environment.
