The History And The Status Of The Kun Taoist In West Of Yunnan Province

Women Daoist,was called'Nvzhen',generally refers to the women believer and practitioner in antient China.Women Daoist occupies an important position in the history of Taoism.This is not only because Taoism has its unique view of women,and has the thought theory of emphasizing both yin and yang,respecting and respecting women,but also because Taoism attaches great importance to the role of women in religious groups.Throughout the history of Taoism in Yunnan,there have also been many influential Women Daoist.Among them,Women Daoist in Western Yunnan,which is active in Baoshan and Lincang areas,has become an important force in the history of Taoism in Western Yunnan and Yunnan,with its hard work as a woman and compassion and tolerance as a practitioner.Especially after the implementation of the religious policy in the 1970s,Women Daoist in Western Yunnan,while improving its self-cultivation,has attracted a large number of believers and formed an indispensable group of religious groups by constantly strengthening their ties with each other and widely uniting with the people.Women Daoist in Western Yunnan has made great contributions to the development of Taoism in Western Yunnan and even in Yunnan as a whole because of its unique religious image and positive influence on the development and perfection of the temple.The first chapter reviews the history of Taoism in western Yunnan.The second chapter focuses on the restoration of religious sites and the reorganization of Taoist associations in Western Yunnan after the implementation of religious policies in the 1990s.The third chapter mainly presents the present situation of Women Daoist's practice in Western Yunnan from the aspects of the promotion of Women Daoist's self-cultivation,the development of religious groups,the education of Taoists and the propaganda to the public.Finally,through the summing up and interpretation of the practice of Women Daoist in West Yunnan,the development mode of Women Daoist in western Yunnan is established.This paper tries to discuss the adaptability of Taoism in modern society and its reflection and Reform in the face of modern society,based on the case of Women Daoist in Western Yunnan,which develops itself and Taoism through the construction of religious groups and the possibility of its popularization.
