The aim of the present study is to explore the brain mechanism of intonation processing of interrogative words as a special vocabulary,to explore what information intonation information processing is mainly based on in two tones,and to study the brain mechanism of intonation processing of two tone interrogative words under automatic processing and controlled processing conditions.In order to avoid the influence of environment,gender and semantics on the experiment,the human version of the sound corresponding to the stimulus material was used in the experiment.In this study,active oddball paradigm and passive oddball paradigm were used to study the differences of intonation processing of Chinese second-tone interrogative words under automatic processing and controlled processing through the information of MMN' s amplitude,latency,time window and evoked position.In experiment 1,a passive oddball paradigm was used to study the brain mechanism of intonation processing of Chinese second-tone interrogative words under automatic processing conditions.The second experiment used the active oddball paradigm to study the brain mechanism of intonation processing of Chinese second-tone interrogative words under controlled processing conditions.We concerned about and analyzed the time window and amplitude of MMN,and focused on the impact of the amplitude of MMN under the semantic(standard sound material)and non-semantic(pitch version).At the same time,we analyzed and compared the positions of MMN students to explore the clues of intonation information processing.It was found that in the passive oddball paradigm,the amplitude of MN induced by the processing of Chinese two-tone interrogative intonation under the experimental condition with semantics was significantly smaller than that of the average amplitude of MN induced without semantics.In the active oddball paradigm,there was no significant difference in the mean amplitude of MMN initiation under the condition of semantics or not.Compared with the passive oddball paradigm,the induction of MMN in the active oddball paradigm embodied the superiority of frontal lobe processing.The results showed that under the condition of automatic processing,the processing of semantic and non-semantic two-tone interrogative words can trigger MMN,which had no hemispheric advantage.In the control processing conditions,the intonation processing of semantic two-tone interrogative words can trigger the left hemisphere advantage.Only under the condition of automatic processing,subjects were more sensitive to the intonation processing of two-tone interrogative words without semantics.The results of this study supported the function hypothesis and the integration hypothesis.
