Research On The Design Of Public Art Works In Urban Metro Space

With the rapid development of science and technology and the continuous advancement of society,the urban space on which people depend for survival is also increasingly perfected and updated,and people's concepts and demands for urban culture and symbolic aesthetics of visual elements are gradually increasing.Correspondingly,the rapid pace of urban construction and the excessive use of resources also bring visual and ecological problems to urban space;moreover,the contradiction is deepening and expanding,which is inextricably linked to the long-term urban development and lifestyle transformation.The overall construction of the city not only needs to be dominated by hardware structures,but also needs to invest more resources and power in focusing on the inheritance of urban spirit,cultural heritage,and the diversity and pluralism of aesthetics.In urban space,the subway has become an important means of transportation for people to travel daily.The subway provides a convenient way for people to travel,and becomes an important public space in the city.The application of public art in the subway makes the subway transportation space present a variety of artistic features,creates a public space that gives geographical features and appreciation value,and plays an invaluable role in satisfying people's spiritual needs,highlighting the spirit of the city,and spreading urban civilization and cultural temperament.On the one hand,the application of the public art in the subway can integrate the traditional culture of the Chinese nation and the important ideological value into the public art design works,and carry forward;at the same time,the application of public art in the subway can enrich and develop the transportation industry of the whole city and improve the service level of the city.On the other hand,while the application of public art in the subway enhances the symbols and atmosphere of space culture and art,people's spiritual life is also subtly enhanced,which makes people pay more attention to the improvement of their own and public morality,like the life-giving spring breeze and rain,and moisten things silently.From a broader perspective,the application of public art in the subway is also conducive to the development of the entire city and human progress.Based on this,the development and art form of public art in urban subway space is mainly discussed in this paper;by analyzing the development status of public art inurban subway construction,the application and integration of public art and urban subway space construction and use,as well as the functional work and formal expression of public art are explored.
