Glimpse Of Time:A Study Of The Integration Of Oil Painting And Digital Media Under The New Visual Cultural Background

From the history of human civilization,art and science never exist independently and parallel to each other.Art,as the nourishment of human spiritual world,reflects the essence of human social development.Every social progress is bound to become a catalyst for the occurrence of art.From the second half of the 19 th century to the beginning of the 20 th century,the Second Industrial Revolution in Europe promoted the development of industry,science and technology.Human beings began to enter the electrical age and reached the peak in the information revolution and information revolution.The emergence of new scientific and technological achievements has dispelled the traditional way of expression and painting,thus bringing new visual experience to painters and viewers.In the 21 st century,art has re-innovated and expanded human's understanding and expression of traditional painting through digital media such as artificial intelligence,virtual reality and augmented reality.This paper mainly studies the integration of oil painting art and digital media under the new visual culture background.By elaborating on the theme,idea,conception,media and method of the oil painting work "A Glimpse of the Years",this paper takes the motive,mode and significance of the integration of oil painting and digital media as the breakthrough point of the research,including the separation of expression intentions between oil painting and digital media and the value of digital media's involvement in the re-media of art.The development trend;the digital media gives new possibilities to oil painting art communication mode;the irreplaceability of art and the evolutionary trend of technology and so on.Science and art have been developing in interweaving,enlightening and influencing each other,especially in the expression of artistic media,symbols and concepts.The arrival of the digital age has brought a wide and profound impact on human production and life.The creation of art,the research of art,the exhibition of art and the integration and innovation of science and technology embody the symbolic characteristics of human society entering the era of artificial intelligence and digital information.However,even if we use existing or relatively traditional artistic language to explore science,or use scientific thinking to study art,in fact,we always discuss and study art itself.
