Scene recognition is the process in which an individual acquires semantic information of a scene.Rapid identification of situational information is of great significance to human survival.Previous researches on scene recognition have confirmed that there is semantic priming effect in the process of obtaining information and priming effect in the process of scene recognition. This study uses classic priming paradigm and takes real scene pictures as research materials.Through two studies, the semantic priming effect in scene recognition and the controlled processing process of semantic priming effect in scene recognition are discussed respectively. The study was divided into two experiments. In experiment one,33 college students were recruited as subjects. Two kinds of real scene pictures, natural scene and social scene, were used as priming stimuli, and ambiguous action pictures were used as target stimuli. The subjects were required to complete the evaluation and identification of emotional and semantic information contained in priming stimulus pictures, and to judge the content of target stimuli. The responses of the subjects to the target stimuli were investigated under different types of priming stimulus pictures and different presentation times of the target stimuli. All tasks were responded by pressing keys. The results show that semantic priming effect exists in scene recognition. The semantic information contained in the priming stimulus and the presentation time of the target stimulus affect the judgment result and reaction time of the subject to the target stimulus. In experiment 2,57 college students were selected as subjects. The same experimental process as that of experiment 1 was adopted to control the influence of semantic information contained in the priming stimulus scene picture.Eye movement research paradigm is applied to record eye movement data of semantic priming effect in scene recognition. The results show that semantic priming effect exists in scene recognition. The semantic information contained in the priming stimulus and the presentation time of the target stimulus affect the judgment result and reaction time of the subject to the target stimulus;Individuals improve the accuracy of stimulus judgment by increasing the length of second gaze. The study was divided into two experiments. In experiment 3,30 college students were selected as subjects, natural scene and social scene pictures and gray screen pictures were used as priming stimuli, and natural scene and social scene pictures were used as target stimuli. The subjects were required to respond to the contents of the target stimulus pictures.Semantic separation technology and classical priming paradigm were used to investigate the expected controlled processing process of semantic priming effect in scene recognition.Covariance analysis was used to control the influence of emotional priming on the target stimulus responses. All tasks were performed through key press reactions. The results show that under different types of priming stimulus and target stimulus, the number of fixation points is not significantly different in the correct response of the target stimulus, but the correct rate of the response is significantly higher than the probability level. In experiment 4,30 college students were selected as subjects, two kinds of real scene pictures of natural scene and social scene were used as priming stimuli, natural scene and social scene pictures and action pictures frequently occurring in social scene were used as target stimuli, semantic separation technology and classical priming paradigm were used to investigate the responses of subjects to target stimuli under different types of priming stimulus pictures and different presentation times of target stimuli, the subjects were required to judge the semantic relationship types of target stimuli and priming stimuli, covariance analysis was used to control the effects of emotional priming on stimulus responses, and all tasks were performed by key-press reactions. The results showed that the correct rate of the subject's response was significantly higher than the probability level, and the results were in line with expectations, but there was no significant difference in the number of fixation points when the subject's target stimulated the correct response. The results show that semantic priming effect exists in the process of scene recognition, and the semantic information of priming stimulus has a significant influence on the judgment of target stimulus. There are two kinds of controlled processing in semantic priming effect: expected controlled processing in semantic priming effect and semantic matching controlled processing. The semantic information contained in priming stimulus will affect the recognition of target stimulus(both promoting and inhibiting).
