Study On The Chinese Reading Strategies Of Turkish Students

The study found that Turkish students sometimes use Chinese reading strategies.They use local strategies most often,followed by support strategies,and finally the global strategies.On each sub-strategy,the strategies they often use are to choose and notice,repeat,preview and use sound;the strategies used sometimes are to predict,use context,compare cultural background,encourage,communicate,adjust,use body movements,self Monitor,read silently;strategies that are rarely used are to self evaluate,reward,summarize and plan.There is no significant difference in the use of reading strategies by Turkish students in terms of gender,Chinese language learning time,and average daily reading.time for.Chinese.This study proposed five teaching suggestions:1.To face up to students' Chinese reading difficulties;2.To pay attention to the cultivation of students' Chinese reading strategies;3.To design reading teaching according to students' motivation;4.To improve reading teaching methods according to students' characteristics;5.To strengthen students' Chinese reading strategy training.This study innovatively compiled and tested the questionnaire on the Chinese reading strategies of Turkish students.The data showed that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity.The study combines questionnaires,mathematical statistics,think-aloud experiments and interviews.The four methods complement each other:and support each other.To some extent,the simpleness of research method is avoided,making the paper more scientific and reliable.The study of Chinese reading strategies of Turkish students complements and perfects the study of Chinese as a second language reading strategy,making up for the gap in the academic world that has not yet studied Turkish learners' Chinese reading strategies.Under the background of the development of "One Belt,One Road",this research is in line with the trend of the times and society.
