Research On Wei Yuan's Poetry And Prose

Wei Yuan is a famous thinker,politician,writer and reformer in latter-day China.His life experienced a turning point in the semi-colonial and semi-feudal society in China.The vestige of history is reflected in his poems.His poems are mostly esoteric chapters,especially his poems are based on the Opium War,with the motherland's great rivers and mountains as a clue.The Qing's ideological and literary circles have had a profound impact.At present,the academic research on Wei Yuan's poetry focuses on the analysis of landscape poetry and political poetry.This paper aims to comprehensively examine Wei Yuan and his thoughts,conduct a comprehensive study of his poetry and essays,and grasp the artistic features of his poems,in order to have a general understanding of Wei Yuan's poetry and profiling.The introduction part of this thesis includes two aspects of the reasons for selecting the topic and the status quo of the research,clarifying the value of the topic selection,and clarifying the research ideas of the thesis.The first chapter analyzes Wei Yuan's life from two aspects of life and friendship according to Wei Yuan's life experience.The second chapter combines the literary thoughts of Jiaqing period and Daoguang period to explore Wei Yuan's literary thought.The third chapter discusses the ideological content and artistic characteristics of Wei Yuan's poetry.Wei Yuan's poetry creation genre is wide and varied,mainly including landscape poetry,political poetry,grief poetry,present-response poetry,and Zen poetry.His poems are characterized by vivid,refined and vulgar poetic style,various styles,various poetic forms,bold and bold,magnificent poetic realm,feeling in the scene,delicate and subtle expression techniques,plain and natural,uncarved poetic language and so on.The fourth chapter discusses the ideological content and artistic characteristics of Wei Yuan's prose.The content of Wei Yuan's prose mainly includes four categories:political essays,biographies,landscape travels,and academic essays.At the same time,it has the artistic features of profound conception,keeping in touch with the current situation,collecting extensive quotations,using a large number of allusions,explaining in a simple way,and being clear and accessible.In general,Wei Yuan's poetry has considerable research value and is worthy of attention.The conclusion part summarizes the content and artistic characteristics of Wei Yuan's poetry and its status and influence in the history of latter-day Chinese literature.
