The Research About Stage Costume In Experimental Theatre Over Recent 10 Years In Shanghai(2008-2018)

Since the beginning of the new century,the commercialization of theatre has been strengthened continuously.State-owned theatres have begun their commercial transformation.Private theatres are also developing rapidly.The production of small theatre drama with Chinese features is gradually maturing.At the same time,costumes in small theatres show more and more diverse creative styles under different capital attributes.Small theatre drama costume,as a subcategory of stage costume,is an important visual symbol in small theatre drama.Based on the external material foundation of a costume,such as style characteristics,color patterns and production techniques,this paper takes Shanghai small theatre drama costumes from 2008 to 2018 as the research object,and further explores the diversification,popularity and compounding characteristics of Shanghai small theatre drama costumes from the aspects of capital nature,social and cultural background,director creation and so on.By sorting out and analyzing the materials of Shanghai small theatre drama in the past ten years,the author believes that the development of Shanghai small theatre drama costume should not only conform to the market economy and cater to the taste of the public,but also insist on keeping the artistic value,highlighting the features and characteristics,and develop continuously in the process of inheritance.This paper reviews the development of the small theatre drama costume in the early stage,summarizes the characteristics and attributes of it in the past ten years,and hopes to provide some information for the study of costumes in the small theatre drama,thus to make a modest contribution to the study of stage costumes in the small theatre.
