A Comparative Study Of Two Singing Versions Of The Song Gently Open A Window In The Musical Star

Gently Open A Window is a famous aria in the musical theater Star.It shows the joy of the protagonist Yueyue after winning the beauty contest and her yearning for a better life in the future.This paper is written on the basis of consulting materials and literature research.The paper consists of an introduction and four parts of the body.In the introduction,the paper records the significance and purpose of the topic selection,research review and main research methods used in the process of writing the paper.The first part of the text briefly describes the background and achievements of the musical theater Star.In addition,the story and the composer are briefly introduced.The second part analyzes the music body of the song Gently Open A Window and analyzes the musical structure,the use of the accompaniment texture,changes in intensity and artistic features of language.In the third part,the singing versions of Zhang liping and Chen lili are analyzed from the aspects of singing skills and emotional expression.In the fourth part,taking the singing versions of the two singers as examples,the comparative analysis of singing of Gently Open A Window on different stages is made,and the implications of the comparative study of the two versions are summarized.
