As we all know,in 1871,China and Japan signed the "Sino-Japanese Amendment Rules" and resumed official exchanges between the two countries.Since the two countries signed the amendment rules,the Japanese government has sent ministers to the Qing Dynasty several times.In 1874,Liu Yuanqianguang was appointed Minister in China to the Qing Dynasty.In 1877,He Ruzhang was appointed Minister in Japan and led a group of people,such as Zhang Sigui and Huang Zunxian,to Japan.Shen Wenying,No.Meishi,was an attendant of the first Qing Dynasty mission to Japan and served in Japan for two years.Shen Wenying has rich knowledge,is good at poetry,calligraphy and painting,music,and is passionate and modest.During his tenure in Japan,he participated in many occasions of written talks,recited poems,exchanged various cultures,made many Japanese friends,and was widely praised by Japanese friends.In addition,friendly relations have been established with the embassy staff and Japanese-speaking scholars.In terms of political diplomacy,Shen Wenying never forgot his status as a "follower" and did his duty to safeguard the interests of the Qing Dynasty from the standpoint of the Qing Dynasty.Shen Wenying is an indispensable member of the first Embassy in Japan,and his contribution to cultural exchanges between China and Japan is undeniable.This paper takes Shen Wenying as the research object,and explores Shen Wenying's communication status according to his writing materials and works,and tries to outline his portraits.The text consists of three parts.The first part is about Shen Wenying's early activities,summing up her personal experience,and analyzing the reasons why she was chosen as a member of the delegation.The second part is to explain Shen Wenying's work tasks in the embassy and his daily friendship.The third part is the collation of Shen Wenying's works and personal evaluation of Shen Wenying.
