Absurdity And Truth In Painting

Up to now,western painting has developed into a comprehensive form of expression.The birth of all kinds of forms and languages has its specific developing context.Since the realism of the 19th century,artists have paid more and more attention to the expression of reality.Real human nature,real social phenomenon,real emotional perception and so on are the inspiration sources of artists’ creation.Absurdity originates from a feeling of the real situation,which is a part of the content that the art wants to express,and also the reason why absurdity was.generated.In modern times,absurd forms appear more widely in the works of artists.On the one hand,its manifestation is based on the rebellion against the traditional classical painting regulars.It breaks the original aesthetic rules in a non-logical and irrational manner,satisfies the individual psychological needs of creators,releases the expression space dimension in painting,broadens the thinking path of creators and expands more possibilities for art.On the other hand it.also presents the real various states and various problems in the survival situation by its own unique appearance.This paper combines art history to carry out an in-depth study of some works of art,trying to explore the relationship between absurdity and truth in painting and the value of their existence,and combining my own creative practice to further explain and supplement.
