The education standard system with an international perspective will be basically completed by 2020 in China,this shows that international education communication is essential.English as a universal information carrier,language interoperability has become a basic premise,which is also a language that must be learned in quality education.English writing plays an important means of language output,in this process,knowledge can be consolidated and sublimated;but in actual study,students' English writing learning is not optimistic,logical confusion,unclear structure,misuse of words and other problems often appear in English writing.For common writing problems,this study draws on the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on reflection,intends to open students' writing thinking,reduce writing errors and train students' reflective learning ability.However,most of the literature is mainly based on teaching reflection,and student-centered learning reflection is rare.In addition,teaching is a two-way activity,so it is necessary to study students' reflective English writing learning.This research is supported by constructivism and metacognition theory,in exploring the relationship between students' reflective learning and English writing,the following two research questions are proposed:1.Can reflective learning improve junior middle school students' reflective level in English writing?2.Can reflective learning improve the English writing performance of junior middle school students?This study is conducted at Xiliu Middle School,Haicheng City,Liaoning Province.A four-month(16-week)comparative study is conducted on two classes of grade 3,in which class 1 is the experimental class and class 2 is the control class,with 50 students in each class.The experimental class adopts reflective English writing learning method,while the control class adopts traditional English writing learning method.The method of combining qualitative research and quantitative research is scientific,so questionnaire,test,reflection diary and interview are selected as research tools to analyze the collected data results with the software SPSS10.0.The results of the analysis show that reflective learning can effectively promote the reflective level of junior middle school students' English writing and improve their English writing performance.
