A Study On The Swearwords Of Wuwei Dialect

Wuwei County,belongs to Hongchao sub-dialect of the Jianghuai.Recently,the research on Wuwei dialect focused on phonetics,vocabulary and grammar while ignoring the abusive language.To some extent,the abusive language can better reflect the local customs and culture.So far,there is no direct research on it.As a native speaker,I want to make a more comprehensive analysis of the abusive language in Wuwei dialect.This paper adopts the method of field instigation and qualitative analysis as well as quantitative analysis.By sorting out and classifying the data,I not only analyze the structural and functional characteristics of Wuwei swearwords,grammatical characteristics of Wuwei dialect,but also describes its changes.This paper is mainly divided into four parts:Firstly,it reviews the whole study of Chinese swearwords in Mandarin and dialect.Secondly,the structural characteristics of Wuwei swearwords are analyzed from four aspects:general description,phonetic features,grammatical features and semantic features.Thirdly,the functional characteristics of Wuwei swearwords are analyzed by social differences and language function.Finally,the changes of Wuwei swearwords are analyzed from two perspectives of structure and function.
