The Blood Libel case is an accusation against Jews who are accused of killing Christians and using their blood for religious rituals. In medieval Christian society,it was said that Jews would collect the blood of Christians, especially the blood of Christian children, for religious services on certain festivals. This kind of slander first appeared in England in the 11 th century.Over the next two or three hundred years the rumours of blood sacrifice were spread from the island of England to Western Europe, from coastal France to the holy Roman empire and Italy. In medieval Europe, the Christian faith spread to the extent that almost everyone was a Christian.Jews,as heretics, are targeted at the period of social unrest.Through the differences of two religious beliefs, doctrines and liturgy,Christians fantasize about the blood sacrifice tradition of Jewish religious rites, which has become a criminal accusation against Jews in the middle ages.Renaissance was an ideological liberation movement, humanists emphasized the importance of people, but this period set off a new upsurge of antisemitism. The reason for this is the new motivation of antisemitism in the new era.Europe in the period of social transformation in 1475,the old system, there were some old ideas influence, the new system, new thoughts swept by,the era characteristics is shown as:the recovery and development of commodity economy, the national green shoots, the Pope's power fails, the vigorous development of the citizen culture,as well as the rise of science and technology represented by the printing press. At that time, antisemitism was no longer only the persecution in the religious sense, but also the multifaceted rejection of Jews under the competition of cultural life difference, national identity and commodity economic environment. Before Trent in 1475,Italy was the only place in Europe where there were no cases of blood libel against Jews. But in the wake of the events, antisemitic movements in Italy and the German empire were at their height, and Jews were explicitly restricted to living in separate capitals. The study of the Simon event must first have a comprehensive grasp of its historical background. The huge population loss caused by the black death a century or two ago,the rapid urbanization brought by the development of urban economy and civic culture, and the formation of mass religion have become the roots of Antisemitism in the new era.The prevalence of derelicts allowed recurring Antisemitic themes to pervade Christian society, creating stereotypes of Jews. The terrible idea that Jews have a tradition of bloodsacrifice is reflected at every level of society. This implies that the same religious theme creates a closely connected cultural network in society. This event is like a multi-prism reflecting the views of people from different levels of society on the blood sacrifice event in a variety of different reactions. The study of Simon's case is mainly based on the Latin trial records in English translation. In the local trial stage in Trent, the reasons for Christians' rejection of Jews were explained through the dialogue between the judge and the Jewish prisoners in the trial records, including the understanding of the Christian judges on Judaism and the different status of men and women.During the trial in Rome, the different attitudes of the holy see reflected the struggle of different power factions in the holy see.The holy see and the emperor,as the upper ruling class, took a guard against and suppressed the minority groups represented by Jews. The Simon affair had a more profound effect. After the events in Trent, the "Simon cult" was prevalent, the blood sacrifice rumors were confirmed and confirmed, and the fear of Antisemitism spread to the whole Europe including Italy. The emergence and spread of woodblock prints and printed books further deepened Christians' stereotype of Jews, who were more isolated in the Christian society and suffered more serious persecution together with witches, pagans and other groups.
