Dafu plays an extremely important role in the history of ancient Chinese literature.From the stylistic features point of view,"long article can fully display the feature and style of fu",Dafu fully embodies its features "unfold literary patterns and the art of language to describre scenery and hunman feeling".From the stylistic function point of view,Dafu "expresses ministers’ inner feelings and their allegorical meanings,or publicizes the emperor’s virtues and advocates loyalty and filial piety",and it is helpful to society.From the stylistic style point of view,Dafu "sets the boundaries of a stste and mark the divisions in the country and their significance lies in their glofification of the state",which are a little inferior to they ya and song in The Book of Potery.Therefore,Dafu is regarded as the orthodoxy of fu by scholars of the past dynasties.The Western Jin Dynasty is not only the revival period of Dafu literature,but also the key period of its development and transformation.The Western Jin Dynasty is at an important stage in the evolution of Dafu literature.On the one hand,the Fu Writers inherited the old themes and techniques of the Han Dafu,On the other hand,they abolished the disadvantages of Han Dafu,perfected the artistic techniques of Dafu,expanded the artistic space of Dafu literature,made Dafu literature which tended to decline in the late Eastern Han Dynasty glow with new vitality,and opened up a new road for the development of Dafu literature in the Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties.This paper will take the Dafu in Western Jin Dynasty as an independent research object,and comprehensively use the methods of mutual evidence of literature and history,vertical comparison and data statistics to reveal the new changes in the subject matter and art of the Dafu in Western Jin Dynasty,and dig deeply into the literary,documentary and cultural values contained in the Dafu.The full text is divided into the following parts:The introduction part combs the research status of ancient and modern scholars on the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu,In order to clarify the academic achievements that can be used for reference and the space for this topic to work hard.The first chapter mainly examines the development of Dafu and the creative background of Dafu in the Western Jin Dynasty.Firstly,we can find out the related discourse of "Dafu" and "Xiaofu" by sorting out the ancient and modern literature.By keeping similarities and removing differences,we can make a reasonable definition of Dafu.It has three characteristics: huge scale,grand narrative and elaborateelaboration.Long article of ambition should also be regarded as Dafu.Liu Xie thought that expressing aspiration Fu belonged to "Hongcai Yawen",and Zhou Zhenfu interpreted the expressing aspiration fu with Zhang Heng’s "Sixuan fu" as a proof.Secondly,the development of Dafu before the Western Jin dynasty is studied from the perspective of fu history,dividing it into two stages: the Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms,and probes into the important subjects and artistic styles of Dafu in each stage,combining with typical works.The subjects of Dafu in Han Dynasty mainly include hunting,sacrifice,capital and palace.The subjects of Dafu in the Three Kingdoms mainly include four categories:metropolis,war,hunting and palace.Finally,from a plane perspective,examining the influence of the environment,literati’s mentality and literary accertance on the creation of fu in the Western Jin Dynasty.The political situation of dividing and governing disorders,the growth and decline of confucianism and metaphysics,and the transfer of the recipients of Dafu are all closely related to the content of Fu writers.The second chapter mainly discusses the subject types of the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu.In the Western Jin Dynasty,due to the tremendous changes of the times and environment,the scholars gradually broke away from the confinement of Confucian classics and made their souls free.Fu writers felt nature,society and life with a broader artistic mind,opened up a broader artistic space,and greatly enriched the subject types of Dafu.This chapter mainly divides the subjects of Dafu in the Western Jin Dynasty into five aspects: metropolis and palaces,hunting and ritual system,describing travels and expressing thought,astronomy and geography,literature and art.Analysing the ideological content of each type of works detailedly,and making a comprehensive and meticulous interpretation of the works of Dafu in the Western Jin Dynasty.The third chapter mainly discusses the inheritance and change of the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu.The first section discusses the inheritance and innovation of the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu to the Han and Wei Dynasties Dafu from the perspective of literary history.First of all,from the subject matter,the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu has both simulation and pioneering.The Western Jin Dynasty Dafu pursued innovation in simulating traditional subjects,or turned the whole into part,new themes of Dafu are decomposed from capitals Dafu,or promoted the transformation of the theme from XiaoFu to Dafu by adding content,or created a new way to create a new theme of Dafu.Secondly,from the artistic form,the artistic skills of the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu have been constantly improved and perfected,mainly in the aspects of depictingobjects exquisitely,merging feeling with scenery,using allusions numerously and ingeniously,using parallelism skillfully.Finally,from the stylistic function,the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu not only bears the function of eulogizing and satirizing,but also highlights the function of expressing emotion.The second section explores the integration of poems and parallel prose in the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu from the perspective of stylistic infiltration.The Western Jin Dafu absorbed the spirit of poetry.This was reflected in three aspects: writers integrated emotion into the works,paied attention to rhyme and selecting the best words.Furthermore,the proportion of antithesis sentences in the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu increased and became more symmetry and neatness,and a large number of separated antithesis sentences appeared,so the development of Dafu and parallel prose tended to converge.The fourth chapter mainly explores the value of the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu.The first section is the literary value of Dafu in the Western Jin Dynasty.On the one hand,Western Jin Dynasty Dafu has very high literary aesthetic value.From the content point of view,it is vivid and touching,and from the form point of view,it is rhetorical and magnificent.On the other hand,the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu has great influence,not only on the creation of the Xiaofu and poetry in the Western Jin Dynasty,but also on the development of the fu of later generations and even the whole literature.The second section is the documentary value of the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu.Western Jin Dynasty Dafu not only fully showed the style and features of capital in Wei and Jin,vividly described the etiquette system,but also truly recorded geographical orientation.The third section is the cultural value of the Western Jin Dynasty Dafu.Western Jin Dynasty Dafu reflected the Confucian politics and religion,prophecy thought,social fashion and folk culture in Western Jin Dynasty.
