On Music Style And Performance Of Hugo Reinhold's Impromptu Opus 28

As an instrumental character piece,impromptu music is the product of Romanticism in the 19 th century.It is one of the carriers to realize the inner feelings and music inspirations in romantic composers.In the course of historical development,many outstanding pianists and composers participated in the creation of improvisational music,leaving many excellent works for the world.Many of those works have been well received by the audience and get widely spread.Impromptu music has also become one of the important musical genres in the piano music.This thesis takes Hugo Reinhold's impromptu Opus 28 as the research object.The full text is divided into five chapters-the first chapter is the introduction;the second chapter deals with the development of impromptu,Reinhold's life and his career as a music composer,as supporting information for the background of music creation and the creation and performance of music,based on which the relationship between the creation of opus 28 and the time of Reinhold's creation is established to offer reference to the studies of music style and performance in the following chapters;the third chapter analyzes the impromptu opus 28,making a summary of the key idea of romantic music creation in this series of works,and demonstrates the overall unity embodied in the choice of structure,creative techniques and texture in music creation;the fourth chapter is divided into three parts,making analysis of the music performance based on the several music segments.The first two sections discuss music texts and performance from the aspects of the "quality of singing" and "non-singing" melodies as well as the characteristics of multi-layered sounds.The third section deals with the highlights of the three improvisational pieces,analyzing the performance techniques from the aspect of tone,beat and the pedal.At last,the fifth chapter makes a summary of the previous chapters.
