Research On Contemporary Chinese Fantasy Film From The Perspective Of Typology

With the rapid development of science and technology,Fantasy film has become the most suitable type of film to show the charm of digital technology.Influenced by the "fantasy boom" sweeping the world,fantasy film with strong Chinese elements made in China have formed a flourishing atmosphere and firmly occupied a place in the market.Therefore,it is necessary to explore its type characteristics and artistic value.Chinese fantasy film not only show the advantages of multiple themes,hero remodeling,story tragedy and magnificent scenes,but also show many shortcomings such as miscellaneous types,convergence of themes,short special effects board and so on.How to improve the quality of the film,highlight the Chinese characteristics,integrate traditional culture with modern thinking,and better play its role as a cultural treasure has become an urgent task.This paper attempts to use typology theory to study the emerging type of contemporary Chinese fantasy film,which can make the concept more clear and correct many misunderstandings.While studying its classification,evolution and stage characteristics,this paper compares contemporary Chinese fantasy film with early fantasy film,Western fantasy film and other types of films to study their practical significance and future paths.Through discussion,the author hopes to stimulate the desire of the creative circle for the production of film genre,arouse the audience's experience of genre viewing,and further enrich the research on genre theory.
