Research And Application Of Modern Watermark Prints In Jiangsu Province

Jiangsu modern watermark prints not only have a long history in the history of Chinese prints,but also play an important role in the history of modern painting.Jiangsu region has been a famous cultural place in China since ancient times.It has a long history and profound cultural deposits.Under such superior historical and cultural conditions,Jiangsu watermark prints emerged at the historic moment and became a dazzling star in the dazzling sky of Chinese excellent culture.Watermark prints in Jiangsu region based on its unique natural geographical conditions and cultural history environment,thrive in Jiangsu region,especially after the founding of new China,became the Chinese print in the world unique watermark school in Jiangsu,this achievement is the Jiangsu area of modern watermark print artists have access to the traditional inheritance and its innovation of watermark print,not afraid of hard exploration and,and to inherit the national culture tradition,carry forward the national spirit and to create watermark print works with local characteristics has very important significance.This paper analyzes the general situation of the development of watermark prints in Jiangsu,and then understands and discovers the artistic characteristics and aesthetic characteristics of modern watermark prints in Jiangsu,and combines them with his own creation practice,and then explores the new ideas of inheriting the traditional watermark prints.The first part mainly describes the development of watermark prints in China,understanding the development of traditional watermark prints and the birth of modern watermark prints.This paper is divided into two parts:Part before the watermark print of Jiangsu area and analyzes development situation,to understand the characteristics of the Jiangsu region modern watermarkprint art and aesthetic characteristics,among them with Zhang Xinyu,Wu Junfa and Huang Pimo,represented by three watermark print artists to discuss specific artistic features of Jiangsu regional modern watermark print,draw three artists in common with the opposite.The latter part is divided into the exploration in the early stage of creation and the practice in the later stage.By exploring the development process and artistic characteristics of watermark prints in Jiangsu from the 1950 s to the 1980 s,this paper combines theory with practice,absorbs and draws lessons from the characteristics of excellent watermark prints in this region,and applies them reasonably to my creation "traces" series.
