Stanley Kubrick,as one of the most famous contemporary directors, has broken the tradition of Hollywood-type movies.Because of its rich and colorful narrative themes and unique narrative style,he is also known as the pioneer of "New Hollywood" movies.Kubrick's movies not only expand the narrative theme of Hollywood movies in the United States, break the inherent type framework of movies, but also have a great impact on the development of image creation in future generations, guiding the image creators to explore the unknown in films with different themes.Among his many works, the most famous one is "2001 Space Odyssey".Kubrick's film "2001 Space Odyssey" undoubtedly laid the foundation of the visual aesthetics of science fiction films. The film is full of philosophical propositions and brilliant audio-visual construction is still full of charm.Starting from the film "2001 Space Odyssey",this paper analyses the experimental language in the film from various angles through comparative analysis, observation and literature research, and tries to present a different perspective of image creation. The first chapter briefly describes the development of science fiction film "typification",and lists Kubrick's works and mainstream comments. In the second chapter, the experimental language in the film "2001 Space Odyssey" is taken as the breakthrough point to make a thorough analysis and make a comparative analysis with other image creations.Chapter Three analyses the production mechanism of experimental language in the film "2001 Space Odyssey" Chapter Four, based on the analysis of Chapter Two and Chapter Three, puts forward that the film and some works of art should be re-examined from the perspective of "spiritual experience" to see their own artistic creation.
