Wang Meng is a deep-minded thinker and a poet with a keen sense.After experiencing the ups and downs of life and the shock of social history,Wang Meng formed his unique perspective on social history.Wang Meng has a rationality that transcends the times to history.He always reviews the development of times,politics,and literature with an alienated attitude and dialectical methods.Wang Meng formed his own open and diverse literary views in the intersection of history and modernity.The first chapter discusses the Wang Meng's view of literary essence in new period.This chapter will expound Wang Meng's view of literary essence from two aspects of the ontology and subject of literature.Wang Meng stood at the new starting point of history and broadened the extension of literature to reflect life through doubts about rigid literary reflection theory.Wang Meng further emphasized the literary representation of the individual mind and the diversity of literary subjects in the theoretical space of literary subjectivity.At the same time,Wang Meng also recognized the finiteness of the literary subject,that is,the existence of the literary subject must have a certain social historical basis.The second chapter studies the concept about literary creation of Wang Meng in new period.Wang Meng's concept of creation is a continuation of his literary essence.Wang Meng reviews the process of literary creation from the perspective of holism and dialectic.Literary creation is the process of organic unity of various elements of literature.At the same time,Wang Meng also emphasizes the independent aesthetic value of various elements of literature.The character image is the core of literary works.Wang Meng pays attention to the equal dialogue between writers and characters during his creation.In addition,Wang Meng has always adhered to the concept that literature is creation,and pays attention to the breakthrough and innovation of style in literary creation.The third chapter discusses Wang Meng's view of literary criticism in the new period.When Wang Meng conductes literary criticism,he pays attention to the author's creative experience and intuitively graspes the aesthetic characteristics and creative features of literary works,emphasizing the literary and aesthetic nature of literarycriticism.At the same time,he also recognizes the scientific and social utilitarian nature of literary criticism.Wang Meng believes that literary criticism is also a kind of creation.He advocates the diversified development of literary criticism and the liberation of literary style.In the literary criticism pursuing conceptualization and theorization,Wang Meng advocates that literary criticism should return to the research methods of literary ontology.
