Line drawing art is an important artistic language in Chinese traditional painting.It is one of the most basic and important means for painters to express their feelings and depict objects.Chinese traditional painting experiences a long time of development.In the long history,the line drawing figure painting has gradually matured from the bud.Many Chinese figure painters who are good at line drawing are constantly pursuing new breakthroughs while inheriting the tradition.In the current era,the style and resources of line drawing art are constantly expanding,from the figure paintings of Tang and Song Dynasty to the religious paintings,from scroll painting to mural painting.Thangka has become the source of the artist's inheritance of traditional style and techniques.The'New Tangka' based on the traditional Tibetan art style is a continuation and expansion of the traditional Tibetan Thangka art from the theme to the content and form of creation,which makes the traditional Tibetan Thangka art a new vitality in the new era.In this article,we carried out a large number of investigations into not only the most featured and characteristics Tibetan image of 'Jixiang Babao' and the different Tibetan branches along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.We engaged creation with the theme of the great changes in the lives of the Tibetan people after the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway,learning from the form of the traditional Tangka.The creation depicted the tremendous changes brought about by the Tibetan people after the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway from multiple dimensions,including regional culture,human environment and traditional art.
