A Research About The Impact Of Power Sense And Psychological Distance On Risk Decision-making

In our life,risk decision-making may face many situations,such as making decisions for oneself or others,making decisions for the present or the future,or making decisions for here or elsewhere.This change in decision-maker's role,time and place can be considered as a change in psychological distance.Psychological distance includes social distance,time distance,spatial distance and probability distance.It is a factor influencing risk decision-making.As an important psychological state,the power sense always affects the individual's cognition,emotion and behavior.Different power sense have different effects on risk decision-making.This study will explore the impact of power and psychological distance on risk decision-making.This study will explore the influence of power sense and psychological distance on risk decision-making from different dimensions.The subjects were divided into high power sense group and low power sense group by 27% of the scores of power scale.Then study the difference of risk decision-making behavior among individuals with different power perceptions under different psychological distances by manipulating psychological distance.Study one explores the influence of power sense and social distance on risk decision-making.The results show that power sense has a significant impact on risk decision-making.Individuals with a higher sense of power tend to take risks;Social distance has a significant impact on risk decision-making.The longer the social distance is,the more risk-taking is preferred.There is a significant interaction between power sense and social distance,in low power sense,there is no significant difference in risk decision-making between different social distance.In high power sense,there is significant difference in risk decision-making between different social distance.Study two explores the influence of power sense and time distance on risk decision-making.Power sense has a significant impact on risk decision-making.The higher power sense,the more risk-taking tendency;Time distance has a significant impact on risk decision-making,the longer time distance,the more risk-taking;There is a significant interaction between power sense and time distance,in low power sense,there are significant differences in risk decision-making between different time distance.In high power emotions,there are no significantdifferences in risk decision-making between different time distance.The third study explores the influence of power sense and space distance on risk decision-making.The results show that power sense has a significant impact on risk decision-making.The higher power sense,the more risk-taking tendency;spatial distance has a significant impact on risk decision-making;the farther space distance,the more risk-taking;and the interaction edge between power sense and space distance is significant.
