| In the Neolithic Age,a splendid culture was created in the Haidai region.At present,cultural development in haidai region is divided into Houli Culture,Beixin Culture,Dawenkou Culture and Longshan Culture in chronological order.Among them,Beixin Culture.Dawenkou Culture,Longshan Cultural sites have been unearthed water deer teeth phenomenon.After the Houli Culture is still no water deer teeth unearthed.According to the analysis,the number of water deer teeth unearthed from different cultures shows a certain rule:during the Beixin Culture period,the water deer teeth were all unearthed in the strata and ash pits,and there were many traces of processing.During the period of Dawenkou Culture,the number increased sharply.There were still excavations in strata and ash pits,and there were also discoveries in tombs,and the number of excavations far exceeded that in strata and ash pits.There were many water deer teeth unearthed in Longshan Culture period,but the number decreased obviously compared with Dawenkou Culture period.In addition,Dadunzi site,Liulin site,Wangyin were unearthed in the site with Hook-shaped artefacts made of water deer teeth.The study on the use of water deer teeth can be analyzed from two aspects.On the one hand,the most direct and important one should be the traces of processing and use of water deer teeth,which are mainly concentrated in the blade,tip and root.Sharp edge grinding,can be used for cutting;Long and thin tip,grinding marks obvious,can be used for hook,cut;The roots are carved with grooves and are often the fitting of a water deer teeth hook.It can be concluded that water deer teeth should be a functional tool by sorting out the traces of processing.Dawenkou Culture,Longshan Culture,on the other hand,tombs,unearthed a large number of water deer teeth part have obvious trace processing,part of the state of nature,no machining marks,such as Xixiahou relics unearthed 7 pieces of water deer teeth still has a small piece of jaw,suggesting that water deer teeth may have begun to be buried with a kind of symbolic,representative of the relic,become a funerary custom,but the function of the tool is still exist.water deer teeth hook should be used for warring or hunting.In terms of geographical location,the unearthed water deer teeth sites are mainly found in south-central of Shandong,south-eastern of Shandong,northern of Jiangsu,Weihe river basin,etc,and there are also a few unearthed sites in Jiaodong peninsula,north-western Shandong and Lu-yu-wan junction area.In terms of time,water deer teeth did not appear in the Haidai region in the early Neolithic period,but began to appear in the middle of the Neolithic period.The reasons are manifold.First,it has to do with the habitat of the water deer,which is a warm-loving animal that lives in swamps and wetlands with dense vegetation,and is close to water.Secondly,in different cultural periods,the proportion of fishing and hunting economy in social production is also different.Through the identification of unearthed animal species,the fishing and hunting economy in the period of Beixin Culture and Dawenkou Culture accounted for a large proportion in social production,and was an important source of meat for the ancestors.Longshan Culture period,agriculture is very developed,livestock industry accounted for a large proportion,into the ancestors of the main source of meat.At this time,the fishing and hunting economy became a kind of meat supplement.Finally,the geographical environment of different regions is different,and the way of life of the ancestors is also different.For example,in the Jiaodong peninsula area,many shell mound sites were found,and the ancestors who lived in this area preys on fish and shellfish in the ocean.Based on the geographical location,processing traces and the relics unearthed at the same time,the use of water deer teeth has been clearly understood.At the same time,we have a deeper understanding of the climate and environment of the Neolithic age and the social production mode of our ancestors. |
