This thesis is mainly based on the study of Chapter “Saint Max” in The German Ideology, which aims to analyze Marx's criticism of Stirner from the perspective of social power,to reveal the principled difference between Marx and Stirner on the philosophical premise, and to explain Marx's critical thought of social power.Marx criticize Stirrer mainly from three chapters.Chapter one combs the logical process of the young Hegelian from Strauss,Powell,Feuerbach to Stirner, revealing the reason which Marx spent a lot of time criticizing Stirner in The German ideology.Chapter two recounts Stirner's philosophical premise of the “self-interested individual”,and clarifies Marx's criticism of Stirner philosophical premise from many parts, such as the traditional logic of the Philosophy of Power, the relation between “power” and “right”,category of “people” and “ego”.Chapter three specifically explains Marx's criticism of Stirner from three dimensions of “the relationship of material life”,“symbol of power” and “community”.Based on the basic standpoint of historical materialism,Marx expounded the idea of social power, and clarified the philosophical premise of “real individual” from the perspective of social power.Marx's thought of social power has extremely profound sources of reality and social history, which is aimed at building a “community of free individuals”,interpreting the specific, historical and realistic relationship of material life between people.
