The Representation And Exploration Of The Visual Symbolization Of Harajuku Culture In Japan

Harajuku culture was born in Shibuya-ku,Tokyo,Japan,and is a unique Japanese local culture.This article takes the Japanese Harajuku culture as the entry point and extracts the visual symbols it contains.Based on the artistic expression of Harajuku culture visual symbolization,through the transformation and re-design of visual symbols in Japanese Harajuku culture,a series of distinctive and independent Harajuku youth images were created.Using the intercultural and instrumental qualities of visual symbols in expression,an inclusive and unique Harajuku visual world is used to explore the subculture phenomenon of today's world behind the Japanese Harajuku culture.This cultural phenomenon reflects the contemporary young people's desire to break through the bondage,express the true self,and show the unique charm of this culture.
