Thought Of Silence:Lu Xun's Silence And His Text World

Lu Xun's life mainly containes two periods of silence.One was the compilation of the Collection of Foreign Novels in 1909 to the publication of the Madman's Diary in 1918,and the other was the completion of the Preface of Shout in December 1922 to the Blessing's completion in February 1924.Silence means the halt of expressive creation.Lu Xun's twice silences exist like black holes in his creative life,but Lu Xun is unique.The uniqueness of his existence has an inseparable relationship with his silence.If we don't think about Lu Xun's silence properly,it will be difficult for us to enter his text world,even to see a comer of Lu Xun's profound thoughts,and to approach his spacious inner world.Then,we will lose Lu Xun completely and the chance to talk with the pioneers of modern Chinese literature and thought,which is a great loss for the Chinese people.Based on Lu Xun's two silences,this paper tease out the relationship between Lu Xun's silence and his opening,and what features Lu Xun's "silence" gives to his literary construction of the text world.The paper is divided into three parts:"Pre-silence:The origin of Lu Xun's silence and the Dominant Silence:the exemplary function of Lu Xun's silence and Post-Silence:Lu Xun's silent breakthrough.Among them,the main part of "Dominant Silence" focuses on the exploration of Lu Xun's texts.Taking the relationship between Lu Xun's silence and his opening as the meridian structure,this paper treats Lu Xun's main spiritual world and text creation in different periods horizontally,explores the characteristics entrusted by his silence in text creation,and tries to approach Lu Xun's inner world through the research of combining horizontally and vertically,and excavates Lu Xun's essential characteristics as Lu Xun.
