Salman Rushdie is a famous British writer in the 20 th century,he has published many novels,such as Imaginary Homelands,Midnightis Children,Shanme,The Mooris Last Sigh,The Satanic Verses,The Ground Beneath Her Feet,Fury,The Enchantree of Florence,East West.He was born in Mumbai,India in 1947,going to the UK to study in adolescence,so he has a double identity to see the world.His works describe the human world from all levels of society and all living beings,especially the description of the life style of the Indian people is meticulous.In the words,the line shows the yearning for the plural world.The hybrid world in his novels is mainly manifested in three aspects.such as weakening confrontation between countries,blurring conflict between religions,coordinating confrontation between characters.And also created a series of abnormal characters.Such hybrid social relationships and characters make the world more vivid and lively.In the process of constructing a promiscuous world,Salman Rushdie has used a variety of expressions ingeniously,adding elements of realism,modernism,and postmodernism to the text.The role of complex images and the addition of unreliable narratives make us feel his efforts to construct a hybrid world.There are many reasons for him to construct a hybrid world.First of all,his special life experience has had a great impact on his writing,In addition to this,he is also influenced by historical factors and ideological trends of his time.Due to the particularity of his location,he has multiple cultural identities and cultural perspectives.Although he sometimes looks at the east from a western perspective,he has always insisted on a pluralist stance and tried to use resistance to resist the essence and authority.His literary works exude a unique radiance in this era,we have seen a variety of social phenomena and characters here,and these are the important forces of the colonialism and narrow nationalism that the author used to dispel violence.By analyzing this image,we can more fully see the cultural picture in his novels and saw his good expectations of the world.
