" White Noise" by Don Delillo is another warning prophecy about human society after "1984".The work tells about the fear and uneasiness of people after a chemical spill.The book deals with multiple aspects of production and consumption,mass media and radiation,and reflects the anxiety,confusion,and deep fear of death in contemporary Americans.At this time,death has become the most necessary but also the most difficult life problem in life.This topic aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the reasons behind the many efforts made by people in "White Noise" to face the fear of death,and to use Heidegger's philosophy of death to break the curse of death fear to some extent.,To achieve the ultimate goal of "living to die."This article is divided into three chapters to analyze and study the death problem in "White Noise".The first chapter discusses the presentation of death,that is,the performance of death in the work.According to the different ways of presentation,it can be divided into four parts:death in time,death in space,death in sound,and waves and radiation.Social phenomena and their effects.The second chapter describes the efforts of the main characters in the work to overcome the fear of death and analyzes the profound meaning behind these behaviors.The third chapter discusses the problem of refraction through death,such as Delillo's concern for the causes of death,the causes of human fear of death from ancient times to the present,and the relationship between literature and death.The conclusion summarizes the content of the full text,and at the same time affirms the status of Derriello in post-modern literature,he draws the conclusion that death should be looked directly and accepted.
