The problem of other minds is an important issue in the study of philosophy of mind.It mainly involves two aspects. One of them: How can we understand or prove the existence of other minds besides ourselves;Second: Can we know his mind and its activities, process, state, and event? How do you know if you know it? What is its foundation, basis, nature, and process? The first question involves ontology, and the second question involves the content of epistemology. The article focuses on the answer to epistemological questions. At present, there are two theoretical views on the epistemological answer to the problem of other minds :Theory-Theory and Simulation Theory. Both theories have their own theoretical advantages, and they absorb and improve their own theories in mutual criticism. However, the two theories are still not separated from the barriers of analogy. This paper believes that these two theories do not answer the problem of other minds very well. Here, introduce a theory of the other minds-direct perception theory. The theory is that we can directly perceive the psychological state of others, just as we directly perceive external things. However, this theory has been criticized in many ways,of which Pierre Jacob believes that direct perception theory is a rough behaviorism. The purpose of this paper is to refute the view that the direct perception theory is rough behaviorism,so as to defend the direct perception theory and try to solve the epistemological problem of the problem of other minds. The article is divided into four parts. The first part: combing the development process of the problem of other minds in the history of philosophy, introducing the epistemological method of theory-theory and simulation theory;the second part: expounding the feasibility of direct perception theory through Wittgenstein's dispelling and disjunction of the problem of other minds. The third part: analysis of the concept of "expression" in the concept of direct perception. The forth part: focus on the theoretical connotation of direct perception and its theoretical advantages, and compare the direct perception theory with behaviorism to make a reasonable defense.Provide a new theoretical attempt for the epistemological answer to the problem of other minds.
