A Study On The D.935 Acoustic Version Of Schubert Impromptu

Franz Schubert is one of the pioneers of the Romantic School in the history of European music development.In his lifetime,he composed 11 improvisations,numbered Op.90(D.899),Op.142(D.935)and three last improvisations.At present,most of the works and documents are about the music form and performance of these works,but the comparative study of the sound version is less.Firstly,the structure of Schubert’s improvisation D.935 is analyzed.Then the recording of three pianists,Brendel,Nida Photon and Maria Pires,is uploaded to www.VmusNet.Visual analysis maps of the three pianists’speed-intensity are obtained.By referring to these visual analysis maps,two aspects of the three pianists’speed-intensity are analyzed.This paper makes a detailed comparison and summarizes the playing styles of the three pianists.
