Danson Paul Pollard is one of the most famous Bass Trombone performers in the world.His performance style research has reference significance for the study of Bass Trombone and the performer's performance practice and theoretical research.This article mainly focuses on Paul Brett's Classical Solo work "Concerto in B flat major",from the aspects of music processing,emotional expression,timbre control,speed and dynamics change,and the use of performance techniques,through the analysis of performance,the comparison of performances by different performers and interviews,puts forward the beauty and suitability of Paul Brett's performance of this work.Performing principles,the dynamics of "jujube karyotype",the strict music expression style without sticking to music score,and the Bass Trombone playing style with emphasis on flexible and melodious timbre treatment.
