Research On The Content Of Exegesis In Local Chronicles Of The West Lake Tour And It's Sequel

The Local Chronicles of the West Lake Tour and it's Sequel are chorogophic books with multi-faceted textual research content,written by Tian Rucheng in the Ming Dynasty.There are a total of fifty volumes in books.The books mainly record the historical development and the anecdotes of the scenic spots and historical sites around the West Lake,and beautiful legends of talented figures,little-known historical stories,marketplace culture and folk customs,techniques in public place of entertainment,dialect and vulgarisms related to Hang Zhou.The contents of the two books cover a wide range of topics,including a wealth of exegetical materials,mainly to explain the meaning of words,correct the wrong characters,mark the pronunciation,explain the idioms and so on.These exegetical contents record and explain a large number of dialect words,clear and enrich the interpretation of the words,add the words and illustrations of the dictionaries,describe and correct the customs system of Hangzhou,which have a very high linguistic and historic value.However,judging from the current research status,the academic circles have not systematically studied the exegetical materials in the two books,and didn't excavate it's research value.On the basis of combing the materials of the two books,this paper will further research the content of the exegesis and explore the research value in depth,in order to supplement the lack of local chronicles and notes,and provide reference for later researchers.This paper is divided into three parts:introduction,body and conclusion.Among them,the introduction mainly summarizes the research significance,research situation and research methods of the paper.The main body is divided into three chapters:The first chapter introduces the author Tian Rucheng and his brief works,as well as the relationship between Local Chronicles of the West Late Tour and it's Sequel;The second chapter sorts and examines the exegetical materials contained in the book;The third chapter explains the research value and deficiency in the content of the exegesis.The conclusion part is a summary of the paper.
