The change of water environment is a long-term process. In Ming and Qing Dynasties,Wujiang area was affected by the southeast discharge pattern of Taihu Lake. The main characteristic of water environment is the intensive division of land area by water storage and discharge network. The role of water-rich environment is becoming increasingly prominent, and the game between water and Farmland is more intense than that in Tang and Song Dynasties.Water environment has profoundly changed the basic conditions of agricultural production in Wujiang.Agricultural production changes in the process of adapting to water environment Agricultural production based on "water and Farmland"presents a progressive development model.Land is the core element of agricultural production.Intensive water network leads to the universalization of collapse phenomenon, which affects the field. The spatial pattern and amount of the field show unstable changes, and the taxation also changes. The conflict of interests with uneven interests as the core has become a normal contradiction in agricultural society. At the same time, the small pool system adapted to the new land pattern has stimulated the autonomy of the rural society, and the agricultural society has gradually moved towards transformation. The control of the feudal state has strengthened agricultural production under a more macro background of the times, further clarifying the difficulties and complexity of traditional agricultural production. In addition, the close relationship between water and Farmland causes frequent drought and flood disasters, which prompts the adjustment of the production structure of traditional agriculture.Rice and wheat, sericulture, fish and turtle, water shield and water chestnut, and other industries are developing in a coordinated manner, which constitutes a rich agricultural system of water towns in Wujiang area. The process and results of land use and agricultural development are comprehensively reflected in the life of farmers in Wujiang, which constitutes a unique understanding of farmers' habitats. The improvement of agricultural production technology, the change of social survival cost and the summary and arrangement of agricultural experience all show that Wujiang farmers are well versed in the survival philosophy of water. In a word, the agricultural production in Wujiang area was mature in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the land use and agricultural development based on the changing water environment were more manifested in the adaptation and transformation of human beings to the environment.
