Multi-sensory Experience Design Concepts Used In The Book Binding

This article is to discuss the multi-sensory experience design in paper book under the background of rapid development in electronic information dissemination.Traditional paper books reading is not only reading the content and feeling the text,but integrating the feeling of touching,the smell of ink,the effectiveness of printing and the soft or hard feelings of paper pages,and other sensual pleasures of reading.And this is the charming of paper books.Putting the sense of touching,hearing,smelling,tasting,and many other sensory into modern paper book binding and layout design,to create an all-round sensory experience,and putting a new design method into book binding design.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is a brief overview of the basis of theoretical studies,status,purpose,meaning,contents and methods.Chapter II overview and correlation analysis of multi-sensory experience design and book design,explain core concepts and other key concepts.The third chapter is the core of this paper.First part is the forms of sensory experiences elements in book binding design.The second part the communication of multi-sensory language in book binding design.The last part is the principles that multi-sensory book design should be followed in.The fourth chapter is mainly analysis the expression of multi-sensory experience design in book binding.The last chapter is the summary of full text and the academic viewpoints,and the inspiration that multi-sensory experience for the modern book design,especially on the development road of Chinese book design.Through the study of elements forms to the sensory experience in book design,visual language to convey,feel the experience of the design,the auditory sensory res onance,form integration,such as the extension of sensory taste experience design m ethod into the books,the books to "form with God,complement each other,to read i nteresting,the beneficial" to bring readers reading experience on sensory stimulation,strengthen the reading efficiency,design more benign book in china.In the design pr ocess to grasp the book function and aesthetics,aiming at the study of the expressionand inheritance of the humanized design for the readers to the needs of the audience,to create a "fascinating,empathy" reading atmosphere,to achieve harmony between the readers and their communion.The purpose of this paper is hrough the analysis of the multi sensory experience design to promote the development of the design of the book binding in the digital media era.
