This practice report is based on the Dong Wu Talk Show,which is a business and economic column in China Business radio of China National Radio and it discusses the addition strategy from the perspective of Interpretive Theory.This talk show places its focus on social affairs and economic phenomena.In this program,two radio hosts analyze the truth behind these foci and phenomena.The two radio hosts are Liang Dong,who is the former famous host in Phoenix Satellite Television,and Wu Bofan,who is the publisher of 21 st Century Business.They are influential journalists,who have formed sharp viewpoints on social and economic affairs.The atmosphere created by them is relaxing,wise and humorous,different from the features of print business in traditional radio programs.Although it is humorous,it's still profound,attracting people to think deeply,whose significance is great on society.This report firstly analyzes the hosts' linguistic features so as to lead in their unfinished sentences in the radio program.Then,the application of addition strategy is discussed from the perspective of Interpretive Theory.The author of this report has puts forward her idea on dynamic addition while interpreting.The report focuses on how to yield meaning by addition strategy from the perspective of Interpretive Theory.For each type of unfinished sentences,different addition methods are discussed to ensure speakers' full meanings to be passed to the audience.Finally,the author of this report sums up the effectiveness and significance of the application of addition strategy.She also points out the limitations of her dynamic addition while interpreting from the perspective of Interpretive Theory.
