Vocabulary teaching has always been an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and synonym teaching has always been the focus and difficulty of vocabulary teaching.Data-driving learning(DDL)is a corpus-based learning method that is applied to the classroom teaching of Chinese as a foreign language to cultivate and enhance learners' vocabulary learning ability.This paper uses empirical research to compare the effectiveness of data-driven learning models with traditional teaching models in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.From the experimental results,the data-driven learning model has no obvious difference between the teaching effect and the traditional synonym teaching,however the data-driven learning model is significantly better than the traditional vocabulary teaching.After the experiment,the author used questionnaires and interviews to collect experimental feedback.From the experimental feedback,students are generally accepted for the data-driven learning model,and students are more inclined to provide rich corpus when analyzing synonyms in the classroom.Their analysis helped them understand and remember the differences between synonyms.The author used the software AntConc to build a small synonym teaching corpus for the technical platform to assist the Chinese as a foreign language classroom.The corpus collects 9.7622 thousand words of corpus from texts,student assignments and synonym dictionary.Its corpus is highly targeted,the retrieval software is powerful,and it can update the extended corpus and free offline use.It can overcome the cumbersome data used in large-scale corpus for classroom teaching.The problem is that it is expensive and therefore not easily accessibility.Also,the corpus update is not timely.The corpus is suitable for synonym classroom teaching and student self-use.Using empirical research to explore the effectiveness of the two teaching methods and self-built small synonym teaching corpus is a useful attempt.I believe that the capacity of small synonymous words database will become larger and more perfect over time.At the same time,the author hopes that this research can play a role in attracting more people to join the corpus data-driven learning method in order to add to Chinese language learning.
