The Research On The Fathers' Image In The Late Ming And Early Qing Dynasty

On the occasion of the Ming and Q ing Dynasty,the novels of Caizi-Jiaren as a branch of the realistic novels were all the rage.Such novels focus on the social family life in the real world,and focus on the love marriage between gifted scholars and beautiful women.The "father" has an important position in the ancient society of our country,and has absolute authority over the children's love marriage and education.Therefore,in this genre of fiction,"father" is the most crucial factor for the final marriage of a gifted scholar and a beautiful woman,thus playing a vital role in the development of the narrative plots of the Caizi-Jiaren novels and the shaping of other characters.Therefore,the targeted research on the image of the father in the novels of Caizi-Jiaren in the late Ming and early Q ing dynasty is of great value and significa nce in many aspects.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the body part is divided into four chapters to describe.The first chapter mainly discusses the concept connotation of the "father" in the ancient patriarchal society and its honorable position and authoritative consciousness in the family structure and social order.Then it roughly classifies and combs the father's literary image before the Caizi-Jiaren novels in the late Ming and early Q ing Dynasty so as to pave the way for the era characteristics of the father image the Caizi-Jiaren novels of chapter three.The second chapter gives a general overview of Father's image in Caizi-Jiaren novels in the late Ming and early Q ing Dynasty.This paper selects 36 works of high research value in the flourishing period of Caizi-Jiaren novels as the main bibliography,and selects the representative and typical father image to carry out the data statistics.On this basis,according to the unique behavior patterns of fathers in their daily life with their children,such as arranging marriage,education and so on,they are classified into four types of father images: enlightened father,doting father,selfless father and self-interested father.From this,it is concluded that the literary image of father presents the artistic characteristics of the general "beautification" in Caizi-Jiaren novels in the late Ming and early Q ing Dynasty.The third chapter mainly explores the causes of the writing mode of "beautification" of the father image of Caizi-Jiaren novels,and concludes that the writing art mode of "father" image "beautification" in Caizi-Jiaren novels is the result of the common development of many factors,such as the thought,economy and politics of the Times,and has a profound imprint of the times.Combining with the specific textual data,this paper discusses the specific text function that the Father undertakes in the novel text,and expounds the important role of "father" in the development of the novel plot and the image-shaping of other characters.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the social and cultural connotations of the father in Caizi-Jiaren novels in the late Ming and early Q ing Dynasty,from father's view on children's marriage and education.It is concluded that the image of father in Caizi-Jiaren novels is more complicated and special than that in previous literary works.
