Application Of Visual Analysis Technology In Mental Health Assessment

With the advent of the era of big data,visual analysis technology in the field of psychology has become more extensive,which has attracted many people’s attention.However,there is still a lot of research space to combine visual analysis technology with mental health.The results of many assessment systems cannot be utilized to directly describe the user’s symptoms,the users will not be able to timely understand their mental health status and discover their own health problems.This paper analyzes and summarizes the existing application of visual analysis in the direction of mental health,and finds out the key and difficult points in this direction.Taking the above problems into consideration,this paper proposes to apply visual analysis technology in mental health assessment for helping individuals analyze their own mental health problems more better.The mainly research contents are as followings:1.Proposed the concept of applying visual analysis technology to mental health assessment.This paper attempts to help users understand their mental health status and analyze their potential mental health problems in a visual way.We have explored the problems about the application of visual analysis technology in mental health assessment for several times.Through the comparison and analysis of the existing mental health assessment scales,this paper uses the SCL-90 symptom self-assessment scale as the mental health assessment scale.2.Combining with the concept design proposed in this paper,we design and implement a mental health assessment system based on the visual analysis.The method which proposed in this paper through visualizing the user’s mental health data to help users understand the mental health status and discover potential mental health problems.The system will propose corresponding improvement suggestions for the users based on the user’s evaluation results.In this system,users also can analysis the mental health status of people from different regions,ages,industries,and gender groups.The system which is based on the visual analysis of mental health assessment provides a new idea for the application of visualization in aspect of mental health.The system is evaluated by system quality and survey on users,and proves the method proposed in this paper is feasible.
