In the second language acquisition research,more and more researchers pay attention to the affective factors of learners and continue to study.Second language anxiety and motivation are the important affective factors that affect the second language learners.However,the study of affective factors of learners who learn Chinese as a second language is not yet systematic or mature.Among them,the anxiety or motivation of Chinese L2 learners in listening comprehension is covered,while the inquiry from the two dimensions of anxiety and motivation is still missing in Chinese as a second language acquisition area.Therefore,this paper attempts to study the learning process of the Chinese as L2 learners who are at the elementary level,and mainly probes into the following questions: What are the situations and trends in listening anxiety and motivation of L2 learners who are learning Chinese? How to understand the relationship between listening learning Anxiety and motivation? Are there any correlations between the listening comprehension anxiety,motivation and grades? If there is a correlation,what kind of the correlation is? How relevant?In response to this problem,the author studied and analyzed the anxiety,motivation and achievement of the research object using the methods of "Questionnaire Survey(Scale Survey)" and "Comparative Method".And then found that listening comprehensive anxiety of learners of elementary level is at a moderate level while motivation is at medium-to-high level.However,there is no significant correlation betweenanxiety,motivation and their grades.Therefore,the factors that affect learners' listening comprehension are multiple which include internal and external causes.And the influence of gender,age and other factors needs further study and discussion.
