Lexicalization Pattern And Event-Verb Choice In Chinese-English Translation Of Eastern Window

Based on the background in which event is the researching unit in analyzing translation,the paper tried to illustrate the differences and similarity of English and Chinese on Lexicalization Pattern.Based on their differences,translator would never copy Lexicalization Pattern when translating certain work from one language to another.They have to reorganize the semantics and turn original pattern into the other pattern.In this way,the work can be more acceptable to target language readers.There are three principles for translators to follow in re-Lexicalization.The paper will demonstrate how those rules are followed by analyzing the choice of event verbs.
