Research On The Relationship Between Barrage Culture And Mainstream Culture In The New Media Environment

Masters In The Forbidden City,a documentary film which tells about the process of restoring cultural relics.It Broadcasted in the CCTV documentary channel in early 2016 and not attracted much attention.And then,one month later,it got a lot of attention in the bilibili video website which focus on ACG cultural.It was totally unexpected.The documentary of mainstream cultural themes has such an abnormal flow in the sub-cultural community.It has always been considered as irrelevant.The combination of the youth subculture and mainstream culture has produced such a good response,it is worthy of research and exploration.This paper is divided into six parts.The first chapter introduces the background,research significance,research methods,innovation points and research objects of this paper.From the youth subculture to the research of the subculture of the barrage,the literature is sorted out and the documentary of "Masters In The Forbidden City" is summarized,which shows the whole research ideas.The second chapter shows the characteristics of the mainstream culture and the culture of the barrage in the new media environment.The style and communication characteristics of the barrage culture of are analyzed to establish the realistic background on which the research is based.The third chapter analyzes the barrage video of "Masters In The Forbidden City",paying attention to the process of communication and the symbolic expression of mainstream culture,and using the method of text analysis analyze the visual characteristics,specific content and sentiment orientation.and summary the characteristics of the barrage text,that is,the textual interpretation of the documentary by the barrage user.Based on the conclusions of this study,the fourth chapter combines the interview results to interpret the relationship between the barrage culture and the mainstream culture,and compares the Birmingham school’s youth subculture research theory with the post-subculture theory to explain the relationship between them.The resistance of the barrage culture to the mainstream culture has been softened,and the compilation is also the result of the mutual participation,and there is also a relationship of mutually beneficial cooperation and mutual integration.Based on the contents of the above four chapters,the fifth chapter summarizes the article.The relationship between mainstream culture and youth subculture in the new media environment has gone through from confrontation to dialogue,from opposition to cooperation,from boundary to integration.A multi-complex dynamic relationship is finally discussed.Based on interviews with the barrage users,the development of the barrage culture was considered.
