A Study On The Figurative Rhetoric Of Singing Words In Yunnan Opera

Yunnan Opera is the treasure of Yunnan art and culture,and scholars have never interrupted the study of Yunnan Opera.At present,the academic research on Yunnan Opera mainly focuses on the artistic aspect,and few studies on the lyrics of Yunnan Opera from the perspective of linguistics.From the perspective of rhetoric,this paper investigates the figurative figures of speech in the lyrics of Yunnan Opera,and systematically combs the figurative figures of speech in the lyrics of Yunnan Opera by using the methods of literature research,quantitative qualitative statistics and analytical induction.This paper makes a comprehensive and systematic study of figurative figures of speech in Yunnan Opera lyrics from the aspects of types,noumenon,figurative body,figurative words and functions.After classifying and counting the collected corpus,the types of metaphor in the lyrics of Yunnan Opera can be divided into three zero-degree forms of simile,metaphor and metonymy and fourteen deviating forms,of which the use of simile is the largest.The noumenon and figurative body of figurative rhetoric in Yunnan opera lyrics are characterized by diversity.They can be divided into five categories: personage,thing,concrete event,idiom and colloquial language.In addition to the characteristics of diversity,ontology also has the characteristics of representativeness,mostly human ontology and diversification of ontology structure.Vehicle is characterized by the fact that most of the vehicles are objects,that they prefer animals and that the vehicles choose virtual things.The figurative words connecting the noumenon and the figure of speech are various and rich in form in the lyrics of Yunnan Opera.They are distinctive and written.As a rhetorical device,metaphor has rhetorical function,which is the most basic function of metaphor.It can make plain language visualized and artistic.From the perspective of rhetoric function,figurative rhetoric in the lyrics of Yunnan Opera has the function of cohesion of plots,textual reference to context,cultural function of shaping characters,rendering atmosphere,and aesthetic function of enhancing linguistic charm and shaping artistic conception in the play.
