Study On The Image Of Intellectuals In Gao Xiaosheng's Novels

Gao Xiaosheng has always been known as a “peasant writer”,and his image of peasants such as Li Shunda and Chen Yusheng is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.In addition to the peasant-themed novels,he also created a series of intellectual novels.These intellectual images with the imprint of the times are the literary writings of Gao Xiaosheng as witnesses and witnesses of history,and reflections on history.This thesis takes Gao Xiaosheng's intellectual novels as the research object.According to his creation time and the characteristics of intellectuals,he first summarizes it into four kinds of images,namely,the victims,the reflections,the seekers and the confused,analyzing each image.The characteristics,connotation and Gao Xiaosheng's writing motivation.Secondly,it focuses on the complex dynamic relationship between intellectuals and peasants,and how intellectuals transform into the masses' positions while transforming the elite's position.The paper further analyzes the process of intellectuals entering the rural area to accept transformation: exclusionFusion-alienation-nostalgia.Finally,the paper analyzes the techniques used by Gao Xiaosheng to shape the image of intellectuals and the attitude towards intellectuals.The conclusion part further summarizes and expands the main points of the thesis,and analyzes the literary history value of the intellectual image in Gao Xiaosheng's works.
