As a typical representative of the post-colonial culture school, the American-Italian scholar Lawrence Venuti introduced the translation theory of foreignization and domestication in his book The Translator's Invisibility: A History of Translation(1995).The use of domestication and foreignization translation strategies in business English news has become a trend.Culturally loaded words(CLWs)are microcosm of a nation political, economic and cultural aspects. The study of translation theory of foreignization of culturally loaded words can help to promote Chinese culture around the world.Business English news plays a very important role in international cultural exchanges. For this reason, the author chooses the CLWs in business English news as the main research object. The author selects a total of 41,038 pieces of business English news from the news media Global Times and its official Chinese & English website from August 2013 to October 2018 to form a self-built corpus as the research object.Through the combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, the foreignization translation of culturally loaded words in business English news is explored. It is of great significance to study the translation of culturally loaded words in business English news.By studying the translation methods of specific culture-loaded words in translation samples,it can play a relatively auxiliary role for future translators. The analysis of foreignization theory in translation practice can play an important role in promoting the status of translators, publicizing the image with Chinese characteristics to overseas readers, enhancing readers' cognition and eliminating stereotypes.
