The dual-process theory of reasoning has always been the focus in psychological research. The view of the theory is that human reasoning is a mental process in which heuristic and analytical processing interact with each other. At present, researchers have reached a lot of consensus on the core distinctive features of two types of cognitive processing, but there are different opinions and controversies on the priming order and interaction mechanism of heuristic processing and analytical processing in reasoning process. The default-interventionist model is a series of models, which heuristic processing is prior to analytical processing.Heuristic processing respond at first based on knowledge and experience system.Parallel competition model considers that heuristic and analytical processing start at the same time, and that the first step to complete the cognitive processing process quickly is to prompt a response and two types of processing are parallel processing.By manipulating the of premises, changing the semantic content of premises with typical concepts, and using MP,AC and MT rules with different difficulty of conditional reasoning tasks, this study explored the influence of the semantic content of premises on belief judgment and logical judgment tasks and tested the difference between default interference model and parallel competition model. The main results was as follows:(1)The response time and accuracy of logical judgment were influenced by the believability of premises. When premises were believable, the response was faster in valid MP and MT reasoning and slower in invalid AC reasoning. The accuracy was higher in valid MP reasoning and lower in invalid AC reasoning when premises were believable. The response time of belief judgment was not affected by the believability of premise;the accuracy of belief judgment was affected by the believability of premise, and the accuracy of belief judgment was higher in valid MP reasoning when premises were believable. The influence of premises believability on logical judgment was greater than that of belief judgment, and the research results tended to support default-interventionist model.(2)Logical judgment and belief judgment were not affected by concept typicality. The accuracy of logical judgment was influenced by the typicality of concepts. At the level of typicality, the accuracy of ineffective AC reasoning was lower. The accuracy of belief judgment was influenced by the concept typicality. At the typical level, the accuracy was higher in the valid MP reasoning.Conceptual typicality had the same effect on belief judgment and logical judgment as a whole, and the research results tended to support default-interventionist model.
